High School Spanish Preparation

Course Overview: This virtual, twice-weekly summer course is designed for students entering Spanish 1 in the upcoming school year. The program introduces foundational Spanish skills to build confidence and readiness for high school Spanish. Through interactive lessons, students will develop basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar skills, alongside an introduction to Hispanic culture. The course fosters a fun and supportive learning environment to prepare students for success in their first year of Spanish.

• Format: Virtual, held twice weekly over the summer in June, July and August

• Target Audience: Incoming high school students preparing for Spanish 1

• Focus Areas: Basic vocabulary, pronunciation, introductory grammar, and cultural insights

High School Spanish Remediation

Course Overview: This virtual, twice-weekly summer course is tailored for high school students advancing to upper-level Spanish courses (Spanish 2 and beyond) who need additional practice to strengthen their skills. The program focuses on reinforcing grammar, expanding vocabulary, and improving conversational fluency through targeted exercises and interactive activities. Students will also review key concepts and practice real-world applications to ensure readiness for their next level of Spanish.
